Under File, select Open from the drop-down menu and navigate to a location of an image on your computer that you wish to transform.  Choose “Run Fuzzy Sets” from the Plugin menu on the task bar.  A control window should appear that provides the option to set the various user defined values.

The “Dark” value transforms all pixels below the set value to “0” for fully black.  Likewise, “Gray” sets the middle gray level value that determines the membership of pixels into the gray level set.  Finally, “White”, sets the minimum value that transforms any pixel above to “255” for fully white. 

The Coefficients allow the users to define the degree of membership of the defined sets “Dark”, “Gray” and “Black”.  The preset values for the coefficients reflect the pixel value for fully “White”, “Gray” and “Black” sets.  The output histograms will provide the user with an idea of the new pixel values generated by the plugin.
